Arashiyama is one of Kyoto's premier sightseeing destinations, offering numerous must-see spots, including the famous Togetsukyo Bridge.

Held annually from early July to late September, the boats set off upstream of Togetsukyo Bridge after sunset. The flickering of torchlight on the river creates a mystical atmosphere.
The fishermen, dressed in traditional attire with kazaoreshi eboshi hats and koshimino waist straw skirts, skillfully handle their nets in a demonstration of expert technique—a truly memorable sight to witness up close.
